A number of specific features to assist cyclists have been installed as part of the development of Kettering Business Park. These features include signal controlled cycle crossings and a pedestrian/cycle route through the site.
The topography of the area around the Business Park is relatively flat, making cycling a pleasant experience.
Kettering Borough Council has produced a cycling map which shows a network of routes recommended by cyclists. This isn't available online, but can be obtained from the Council - contact details are provided here.
Staff and visitors to Kettering Business Park should be aware of the ‘Active Travel’ guidance available within the ‘Sustrans Projects’ section of the Sustrans Website. A link to 'Active Travel' is available here.
Sustrans also provide an online cycling map - the area around Kettering Business Park is shown here.
Sustrans is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity. Their vision is a world in which people can choose to travel in ways that benefit their health and the environment. ‘Active Travel’ works with policy-makers and practitioners to promote walking and cycling as health-enhancing physical activity.
